Big Train Operators of Arizona

On December 9, 2006 we went to open houses at homes of people who have garden railroads. They are very interesting, but are pretty elaborate and give meaning to the fine line between a hobby and a mental illness.

Tim's kids joined us, and Mark came along. It was a good evening, and we finished it off at our clubhouse, "Peter Piper Pizza," on Baseline

This home didn't have many tracks set up, but his
 storage room looked like the warehouse at Lionel Trains
